MUMBAI: It appears that Bollywood blogs bite with actor Aamir Khan's latest entry raising eyebrows for naming his pet dog "Shah Rukh" but superstar Shah Rukh Khan said he is not ruffled and that he is taking it in spirit.
After Amitabh Bachchan's blog created a controversy with his remarks against veteran actor and BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha, Aamir's latest blogpost talks about his pet dog "Shah Rukh" at his home in Panchgani.
Aamir, who is recuperating from a hamstring injury suffered on the sets of Ghajini, said he has nothing to do with the naming of the dog.
"Shah Rukh is the dog of the caretakers of our house. When I bought this house it came with the caretakers," he clarified in the blog.
When his reaction was sought to Aamir's blog, Shah Rukh on Thursday said he is not bothered and that he was taking it in the spirit.
"I have never bothered about it because I also say a lot of things in fun and I think I am also may be stressing somebody else out.
I don't get stressed when friends pass comments like this. Actually I enjoyed it," Shah Rukh said.
Aamir said apparently, Shah Rukh, the actor was shooting a commercial in the Panchgani house, a few years ago, and that very day, the caretakers bought a pup and named him after the then rising star.
"What are the chances of me buying a house which comes with a dog called Shah Rukh. Some of my friends claim that I bought the house because of the dog. I would have to be a serious fan of Shah Rukh's to want to do that. All I can say is that I'm waiting for him to come over," Aamir wrote on his
Aamir is first of all not a HYPOCRITE nor is he a coward. But surely he is not diplomatic enough too. May be the combo is a rarity. His life is all testimony to it. The lenthy content in his blog does itself shows that he never presumed the dog as SRK even for a second. Otherwise just the word DOG was enough to raise the storm. He just took the DOG'S name as like say of Salman's dog TYSON or TOMMY even BUNTY etc. Does that mean all these named guys are insulted. However if Aamir is doubted and labeled wrongly by SRK fans, then dear behold, Aamir will not desist from doing it again intentionally and openly. For instance:(1) When the whole Film industry was seen gasping at awards sponsered/ managed by corporates, Aamir is the first to boycott them all no-sooner he found their internal workings. But things have improved a lot since then and he can now review his decission (2) When every VIP in INDIA was shuddering to comment on Gujrat riots, Its Aamir alone who dared to take on MODI by going directly to the victims shelter camps. Whereas this very SRK was seen spineless even to issue a message of peace and end to violence, lest he may be labeled a biased muslim; all these fears despite of he praying to all hindu Gods , intalling all the idols in front house, naming kid after a hindu name aryan, still had no courage to speak out.(3)When Aamir's father and some family members were into dubious deals on his behalf, then he didn't even spared them.(4) When BIG B felt hurt of Aamir's comment on his movie BLACK, then the same Aamir went straight to Bacchans house to apologise. This very same Bacchan who lacks the courage to take on SRK on so many occassions when SRK virtually humiliated him at take-over of kbc3, moreover SRK even invited salman on kbc3 the very day while ASH marriage party was on. This SRK also spoke ill of film critics openly. This SRK flirted with A.B.Vajpayeji's poems when BJP was in power and pleased many NRI fans. Now he is seen head over heels with Rahul and Soniaji. This SRK also penetrated into BIG B fan club by piggy backing on Bacchan movies as co-star, and now giving a cold shoulder to himself. Similarly he did with Sachin and now befreinded DHONI who rose as a mass hysteria on his own. So dear the list is endless. Srk has done worse even to Hrithik also when his movie KNPH was huge hit. So don't jump to conclusions as who is what. The modesty SRK is showing is only because, he is now in a win-win situation, the moment a thing is taken over from him, LEAVE ALONE THE STARDOM, the real colour of the person comes fore, as mahesh bhatt once said of SRK as SCHIZOPHERENIC.

Khan successfully defended his title for the third time against Marcos Maidana on 11 December 2010, in Las Vegas. Khan knocked down Maidana in the first round with multiple body shots. The fight was awarded the Boxing Writers Association of America Award for the Fight of the Year.

The 31-year-old Irishman Paul McCloskey was unbeaten in 22 fights and was ranked the world number ten. Khan won a sixth-round by a technical decision. Paul McCloskey was cut by an unintentional head-butt. Paul McCloskey suffered a bad cut on the inside of the left eyebrow. In the sixth round, a five-punch combination from Khan staggered McCloskey and moments later he noticed blood coming from around his left eye.

After a war of words with Judah on Twitter, Amir Khan agreed to fight with him on 31 May 2011 in an attempt to unify the IBF and WBA Light Welterweight titles in Las Vegas on 23 July. Both of them boxed well, and the two judges scored it 113-112 to Peterson, with the other 115-110 to Khan (originally announced as 114-111 to Khan). The scoring was controversial since the judges were being witnessed to be interrupted together with and a re-match looked certain.
Unfortunately for the fans, Peterson’s dope test was later found to be positive and at last he had to return both titles to Khan. Although apparently Khan was beaten by cheating, but it did dent his confidence.
He was set to face Danny Garcia in is next fight. At the pre-fight show, Khan and Garcia’s dad got into a warmed mood. Khan also mentioned his wish to shift up to the 147lb department if effective against Garcia, for prospective fights with high-profile boxers like Floyd Mayweather and Jimmy Bradley, although Bradley has formerly denied a battle with Khan to be able for a big fight against Manny Pacquiao. Khan was looking favourite at the start and he started of very well by coming hard at Garcia. His punches were landing more effectively, and his feet were also alright. Garcia turned it around in the 3rd round and knock out Khan in the 4th order to win the fight and the titles also.

Aamir Hussain Khan (pronounced [ˈaːmɪr ˈxaːn]) (born 14 March 1965) is an Indian film actor, director and producer who has established himself as one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema.[1][2][3]
Starting his career as a child actor in his uncle Nasir Hussain's film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), Khan began his professional career eleven years later with Holi (1984) and had his first commercial success with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). Khan continued to act in just one or two films a year, an unusual trait for a mainstream Hindi cinema actor. His only release in 1996 was the Dharmesh Darshan directed commercial blockbuster Raja Hindustani in which he was paired opposite Karisma Kapoor. The film earned him his first Filmfare Best Actor Award, after seven previous nominations, and went on to become the biggest hit of the year, as well as the third highest grossing Indian film of the 1990s.[20] Khan's career had seemed to hit a plateau at this point of time, and most of the films to follow for the next few years were only partially successful. In 1997, he co-starred alongside Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Juhi Chawla in Ishq, which performed well at the box office. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's award-winning Rang De Basanti was Khan's first release in 2006. His role was critically acclaimed,[25] earning him a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor and various nominations for Best Actor. The film went on to become one of the highest grossing films of the year,[26] and was selected as India's official entry to the Oscars. Although the film was not shortlisted as a nominee for the Oscar, it received a nomination for Best Foreign Film at the BAFTA Awards in England.
